Video & Tracking Notice

What we collect when you watch a CoWorQ video or ask us for a discovery agent link, and why.

Effective: July 14, 2026. Questions? privacy@co-worq.com.

When we share a CoWorQ video with you — usually through a personalized link — we measure how the video is viewed so we can improve it and follow up helpfully. This notice explains what that involves. It supplements, and should be read with, our Data Processing Addendum and sub-processor list.

What we collect

  • Viewing activity — whether the video played, how much of it you watched, where you paused or stopped, and repeat views.
  • Approximate location — city, region, and country, derived from your IP address. We do not use or store your precise location, and our video provider exposes location to us at the city level, not your raw IP.
  • Device and browser — general technical details such as device type and browser.
  • Campaign information — a code contained in the link you used, which tells us which outreach the view relates to, and the date and time of the view.
  • Details you give us — if you ask us for a discovery agent link on one of our campaign pages, the email address you enter, together with the campaign code above. A discovery agent is provisioned to you personally, so we use your address to set up that access, to send you the link, and to follow up.

Who processes it

The video is hosted and measured by Wistia, which acts as our service provider (processor) and processes this data on our behalf under contract. A current list of the providers we use is on our sub-processor page.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use this information to deliver the video, understand engagement, improve our content, and time our follow-up with you. Where required by law, our basis is your consent (requested before tracking in regions that require it); otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving business communications with prospective and existing customers.

Where you give us your email address to request a discovery agent link, we process it to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to respond to you. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of that request alone.

Cookies and consent

Our video player may set cookies or similar technologies to measure viewing. If you are in a region that requires consent (such as the EU, UK, or Switzerland), you will be asked before any non-essential tracking occurs, and viewing data is anonymized until you agree. You can decline and still watch the video.

How long we keep it

We retain viewing analytics only as long as needed for the purposes above and in line with our provider's standard retention, after which it is deleted or aggregated into non-identifying statistics. An email address you give us to request a discovery agent link is kept for as long as we are dealing with that request and any resulting relationship; if nothing comes of it, we delete the address.

Your choices

You can choose not to watch, decline consent where offered, or use your browser's privacy controls. To ask what we hold, object to processing, or request deletion, contact privacy@co-worq.com. We handle such requests as described in our Data Processing Addendum.
